Default Battery relocation to the trunk inquiry

With the ignition problem solved one of the next tasks is to relocate the battery to the trunk, has anyone on here done this on a 73-77 A-Body and if so can you offer any insight?

I have the cables, have the battery box for the trunk, however I am kind of struggling with the placement of the box. Ideally I would like to put the box on the passenger side of the trunk however I am afraid that the trunk hinges will make getting the battery in and out of the box a challenge! I do not want to put it in the middle of the trunk as it takes up pretty much the useable space.
(There is a chance that the box that I bought is larger than what I need!)

Also if you have relocated the battery are you running a lead acid battery or are you using a dry cell?

Any help, .....would be helpful!
