66 GTO posi carrier
My 66 GTO came originally with a 3.55 saf-T-track rear. I blew it up in high school lol. I hung onto the original housing, and I'm wanting to rebuild it and get it back under the car. I want to get a new posi carrier (since my brother pilfered the internals from mine years ago). Is there a preferred vendor? Auburn? Eaton? Someone else? The car is all stock, so I just need something that will hold up to a stock street GTO. I just don't know who has the best quality for the price. Same question goes for the 3.55 gear set. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Importsmasher

There is a complete diff for sale in Parts for Sale, doesn't say what ratio.

I've used Eaton and Yukon. No problems with either and both are rebuildable.

Thanks, guys. I'll plan on either Eaton or Yukon.
