Default HO manifolds shipping FYI.

Just FYI for Ames. Not bashing.
I ordered a set of their HO round port manifolds a couple of weeks ago. They showed up at the door with the box ripped half open. Both manifolds were packed in the same loose box with the wrong packing material for this heavy of a shipment. I was surprised to see them not broken when I opened the remains of the box. Just an FYI for Ames. These should be packed in separate boxes to avoid damage and returns as they are cast iron and easily broken by shipping Gorillas.

Our shippers take extreme care in packaging, especially heavy items like manifolds. We rarely have problems with these being damaged. It sounds like what happened, is the package was most likely broken open during shipping and re-packed by UPS during transit. This will be the case more times than not when you receive a punctured or torn box with less than desirable protection. Thank you for your concern and letting us know! Please PM me if I can assist any further.
