Default Directional cam

In taking the column apart to confirm the cam is bad. I noticed the two prongs bent over. Where are they supposed to go? I’m sure not like that. lol. Also in replacing the cams. Does all that harness come out too ? Replacing worn ignition switch while I’m in there.

Those 2 prongs are part of a plastic/nylon switch that goes over towards the key cylinder. It is made that way on purpose so that if you leave the key in the column and open the door to exit the car a buzzer sounds. They complete a circuit on the reverse side of the TS switch, you can see the 2 touch "pads" in your photo #2. (One black wire and one pink wire.)
