Default DS tinted quarter glass

Looking for a tinted drivers side quarter glass for 1968 A body. Date isn't important so I'm pretty sure it's the same '68-'72. Thought I'd check for a good original before I buy a repop.

Ok Bob, let me know when you get a chance. No screaming rush. Just price comparing to new right now since I prefer good, clear original if I can get it reasonably close to the price of new.

Sorry Greg, do not have. If Scott would have been a normal Pontiac good guy, he would have told you so and saved me the trouble of climbing ladders and knows what I have better then I do. He's looked at this stuff and should have forwarded the info.

Thanks for looking anyway.

On the other hand, are you thinking of breaking up the set when you do your swap Mark?...and which one is scratched?
I might just put mine back together and be patient about finding a replacement. My glass is in great shape, the only reason I want to change it is that it's the only one on my car that is not tinted and I have the back seat out already.. With the turquoise interior it's almost impossible to spot so I may just live with it just as I have in the past. Who knows, maybe it was a factory error.

Recommend you continue assy, then replace: reason is the 1/4 windows set the door window gap.

my deal is simply winter, so will revisit in a month or so, and will be okay to break up the pair. still dunno which 1 of 4 had the scratch.

I think the spare windows are totally clean, and missing every bit of metal.

Yeah, I'm at the point where I'm probably going to put everything back together and if I get a tinted quarter glass later, I'll buy it and swap it at my convenience. I have all the glass adjusted to my liking right now. That's really how all this started. Adjusting front sheetmetal gaps and door glass.
You really can't tell that it's clear unless you are really, really looking or if you look at the LOF symbol that lacks the 'Soft Ray' verbage.

Still looking although I'm just a few days from just putting everything back together as-is with the clear glass...OR, using a repop.
A little surprised that one of these would be so hard to find. They musta made a million of 'em!

I'm going to terminate this request.
At this point, having everything back together and even going as far as replacing the front edge seal/trim on my existing glass...I'm not likely to tear it all back apart to replace a perfectly good clear glass with a tinted one...especially considering that in 15 years, no one has ever noticed it. I didn't even notice it myself for 4 or 5 years.

Greg, I haven't been on this forum for a couple of years. I have a set of tinted quarter glass for a coupe. Let me know if you're interested.
