Default 69 GTO Tail Light Bezels

Wondering which way to go. Plastic for $200 or die-cast for $400?

Do the plastic ones have any cons? I will never have the car judged for originality.

Die cast. Looks like your car is going to be really nice.

Default 3x for diecast

Heat and plastic don't play well together.

Out here in Las Vega$, plastic repro parts like bezels will absolutely warp or develop a wave or distortion in the surface.

You could always buy the plastic ones and then, when they disappoint you, re-buy the die cast. Use your next COVID check!

Or buy the best to start out. Good luck!

I had a set of the plastic ones, I thought they looked very good for what they were. I had them on my car for a couple years before I sold it, held up very well here in Massachusetts.

I bought a set of the pot metal reproductions when they first came out. I was going all out and felt the parts I was choosing would make a huge difference and help separate this car from the rest...

It didn’t make a difference one bit....l
yeah, I’d go plastic first and see how it goes...

I prefer the diecast over the plastic but the plastic versions look just like the metal until you touch them. I was very impressed with the quality.

I put a set of the plastic bezels on my car back in 2003. They still look perfect 18 years later.

One thing to make sure with plastic ones is you get a good clean grounding surface on the tail panel for the grounding wires.
