Default Hood date code

Any idea what this code is on a hood? It is in the same spot as a date code would be ( passenger side hood jam ) but does not look like the date codes I have seen unless D R means nothing and A6 is January 1966.

Default hood code

This is what is on the blue charcoal GTO. The indoor lighting isn't cooperating with the black car for a good photo but I'll try again when I get it outside. I set the camera to "food" and it helped and frankly, I'd rather look at GTO picture details than someone's veal parm or pastrami sandwich..
