1964 GTO Window Sweeps
Good afternoon. Anyone have a recommendation on a decent set of window sweeps? I have a set from a probably 16 years ago that are JUNK!! Can’t recall where I bought them but terrible quality. Called Legendary today and they don’t even offer any for 64 due to available quality. Ames is a month out and I’m told quality in notes are fair.

The quality of products available continues to be a problem. Some people here have successfully modified the Repops brand sweeps. In other venues some have posted the Cat Whiskers brand can be made to work. If you search the term "sweeps" in the search function here you can find some specifics on the modifications required.

I just tried to use a set of the Resto Parts "Better version" and they suck. The cat whiskers part are decent but the outside rubber parts are completely useless.

forgot to mention..the wisker side is ok but the rubber side has to be trimmed with a razor or better yet use your old ones if they are not too bad..WHY CAN"T THEY MAKE THEM RIGHT ? i used them on my65 gto..bought the car new in 65 and the old sweeps were good enough but ruined them getting them out...
