Default GTO value

The Good.
Looks like a pretty solid and complete GTO.
Nice documentation.

Not so Good.
Automatic transmission.
Beige color
Needs cleaned-up, tires aired-up, road-ready

Unknown
Rust history/body condition?
Original drivetrain?
Mechanical/electrical condition.

Best guess - $8k - 12k??

The '65 is one of the most desirable, the color is one of the least desirable.... Gold interior? Not one of my favorites either.
In spite of color, I can only say that the last time I saw a solid '65 for under $10K was probably in the mid to early 1990s. I've always wanted a '65 GTO and color wouldn't stop me from getting one at the right price because I like a '65 just that much.
Hard to tell from those cramped pics but I'm going to take WAG at it...I'd say, clean it up, get some good pics and maybe a set of tires.... $20K.

Big part of the price will be the rear quarters, behind the rear tires. Is there bondo, patch panels or are they perfectly solid. Having the trunk replaced bets the quarters have had some work. If the car is original and bondo free, 20-25k, if they will need work below 20k.

I agree with Greg and Jack - $20 +/- (and that's mainly due to the color/automatic - If this were a 4 speed tripower in that shape it would be significantly more.

I actually like the color combo somewhat, but I'm definitely in a small minority.

What is up with the dual pinstripes?

I agree. I've seen a lot rougher cars pull 10-15k. This car appears nice and unmolested, and was stored inside. 20K plus, IMO, as-is.
