Default Quarter Panel to tail panel

Starting to acquire metal to do my 65. Floor and trunk metal around windshield and rear window . The drivers quarter at tail light housing as some weird rust holes-maybe gasket leaked and held ware and passenger quarter at that corner folded it in hard . Not sure if replacements panels fold around back there,

I don't know about the full quarters sold now but the skins do not have the wrap around metal. Of course this was 20 years ago when I replaced mine.

I saved what I could and made a couple pieces, then welded them in after the skin was installed.

The full AMD quarter has the wrap around. We put one on my '64. Overall the reviews of the fit for the AMD panel have been good - but our experience differed.

Starting the same on my 65 as well. Take some picks of the window channels and post them up if you get a chance. I think I am going to get some of the channel pieces from Beldenspeed and chop up what I need. Are you doing the Trunk pan as a one piece or multiples?

I bought those channels also. Probably more than I need but once I take the windows out I am sure there will be some surprises!
