1974 TA Admiralty Blue Paint 50 yrs old What To Do?
My TA I ordered waited 5 mos. The paint was bad from Pontiac. Talked to zone rep in March 1974 about paint. He was willing to repaint car. I was 25 and I said it's a new car so I didnt repaint the car. I was happy to have the car not thinking of the future. The paint on the roof has small I guess bubbles and the leading edge of the hood
is showing metal light rust. I've been told the paint was placed to thin. Anyway what should I be thinking? Touch up?(I can possible get lacquer but is this a band aid fix)Tear car apart and. repaint with current paint technology. Yes the car is special 40k all original SD455.
