73 TA posi. Measured my axle up pretty close. Both axles are the same. 28 spline, C-clip. Good axle is 1.4 inch diameter in the area of the bearing plus either side. Suspect one is 1.3985 accross but 1.3955 in the bearing contact point. Some difference (.0045) between the two sides from the factory. Plus another .003 wear in the bearing contact point. Any idea what is the totorance?? Do I need to find a replacement? At the end of a restoration and out of money.
