Were decals on the shaker (Ram Air, Ram Air IV) and actual option or just sumthin made available later on

The majority of the concourse cars I've seen don't have any decals at all, so I'm just curious...

Hey Rick:

1970 1/2 Trans Ams had NO factory applied decals on the shaker. 71-72 had the "455HO" decal. 73-81 had the appropriate decal depending upon the engine installed.

Hope this helps.

My '70 TA has RAM AIR decals on the shaker. But I'm the third owner and I know the car was repainted and striped about 15 years ago...they forgot the TRANS AM decal on the rear spoiler. Now that I look through various books and other info I do see that originals didn't have the decals. Guess I'll be taking them off when I have it repainted next year. Is it just me, or does that ebay car appear to have traction bars?
