As I posted Champagne is the rarest standard color in my listing of GTO PHS’s but champagne was quite popular and big cars and especially so on the GP.

I understand that starlight champaine and a few other colours were not offered in Canada for part of the production year for Camaro then allowed with a 12.95 charge because of demand this would explaine low numbers in production again wondering if there was a charge for two tone painted cars?

only 10 cars away from 800 69 GTO PHS's!

Since I came across my first PHS from Maine today I should note that I don't have any 69 GTO PHS's for the following states: Hawaii, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Vermont.

Anyone have one from one of those states? Or Puerto Rico for that matter?

The most common state is California at 53, Illinois at 39 and NY at 31. The rust belt states are surprisingly well represented which is surprising given rust! I suspect that's because Pontiacs and muscle cars in general sold better in the rust belt and mid-Atlantic areas than they did in the west.

North, I think they survive around here because we're used to replacing all the sheet metal so the cars always get saved. The dry weather guys send stuff to the crusher if it's got a dime sized hole in the fender heel. The only original panels on my 69 convertible are the firewall and the filler panel above the deck lid!

I don't remember if I've ever sent you the PHS on my 69 judge back when I was more active here 10 years ago did I? it's a CR Judge that was delivered to Niagara Falls NY. let me know if you don't have it and I'll try to figure out where I put the PHS on it.

In your notes can you tell me how many judges have the ram air 3 m-21 433 combo? And how many do you have that have power windows I have only seen two with power windows in 30 plus years.

I can't distinguish between 3.90's and 4.33's with the regular Ram Air engine since they both would share the same option codes on the PHS. I can say that 6 out of 32 RA IV 4 speeds had 4.33 and 2 out of 10 RA IV TH400 cars had 4.33's.

As for the power window cars, are you asking how many Judges had PW? or a more specific list?

North I know you've really put a lot of time into this list and know your stuff about 69th but as per the PHS having the same code that must not be true because whenever you order a p h s even though it says special axle on the front for $2.11 Madison always checks off on the third page what tranny and rear is and even he knew that this was a 433 car how does he know that unless he has another page with more info that he doesn't give you the consumer I always wondered about that as for the power windows yes I was asking how many judges specifically had power windows I've only ran into 2 and 30 years 169 cars this is a very uniquely optioned car I have no power steering no power brakes power windows 8-track player only along with the M21 and 433's. Family told me the car was ordered to be raced and that's why he would have to power windows because they were lighter in the doors I have lots of experts to tell me this is not the case I haven't been able to figure that one out myself but it's not the first time I heard that power windows were lighter then non-powered doors. Either way I figured it's a pretty rarely option car.

I don’t know what else Jim sees but on the Invoice there is no way to know unless (as is the case for the RA IV) there was only one possible axle ratio for the option code with the engine transmission etc also ordered.

The problem for a 366 or 350 horse engine with M21 is it could have a 3.90 or 4.33. With an automatic or M20 trans it could also be 3.08 or 3.23

my gto with u30. doesn't have rally gauges... could of been changed out. i just have dummy light on far left + gas gauge | speedo middle - and filler on far right where clock or tac would go.

for me i'm guessing u30 means power antenna up down switch .. aux install

Kyle can you post your PHS?

The power antenna can be 'coded' different ways.
With the radio option and maybe just as the antenna.

I show a U75 as a motor operated power antenna?
