Default Who has restored a 70 convertible rear seat?

I know the originals used a molded rear seat "bun" and cotton batting. For those that have restored a 1970 convertible seat, what did you use? If foam, 1" or 2" high density? A mix of high density and batting? I stripped and blasted my frames now it's time to recover.
Thank you in advance!

George, I hope you get few answers to this. I have to do the rear seat in my 71 also. The vinyl is in perfect condition, but the batting and foam is completely gone I believe.
I have recovered the seats in my Fiero, but I am not sure if this the same procedure as them.

You might want to post this in the interior section. There is a guy, rambow helping people with their seats. He seems very helpful with questions. Good luck, Marc.

My 72 vert was (bottom) burlap, foam , then the cover. The back was burlap, cotton batting, muslin, then the cover. That's also what I was sold as a kit from Legendary and I recovered them.
