I've got all the events on my calendar but Bradenton is too far.

Scott is planning to be there but did mention yesterday his new motor wasn't quite coming together.

Mike -

What's the status of Atlanta Dragway?

I thought I read it was being sold or something?

It's up for sale and has been for a while. They are saying the season is still on. They are building apartments and town homes all around it. Sucks because this is a close track for me (30mins) and one of the only 1/4 mile tracks around. After this if I want to race it's a 2.5hr drive to any other track.

Oh! I almost forgot:

Congratulations to Gary Beemer for his top ten finish in NMCA Nostalgia Super Stock: #9 in series championship points for 2020.

I believe I will. I've been thinking about it all morning; mentioned it to my lovely bride and she seemed ok with it. The car is ready.

We'll have to see if we can get John V. to meet up as well.

Keith, you have to park outside the gates. They are limiting the amount of Chevrolets in the pits.

Has anyone actually had their 10 second car checked for a trans. shield at a nmca event? I was told by their tech man my car would be checked. Just wondering.

No.

Not in the last 27 years, anyway.

Ha! That's only a few feet further than where they usually park me.

Like Keith said, Mine has never been checked but I do have one on it.
How have you been Mike? Are you planning on a few events this year?

I am good thanks for asking. I have had my car down here all winter. Been going to Gainesville and OSW. I was all set to go to Bradenton but don't want to go and not get through tech. Everything is right on my car except for a shield.

Mike Davis has his '66 GTO running like a swiss watch!
10:001 on a 10:00 index and backed up with a 10:004
Number one qualifier in NSS and on his way to the Winner's Circle if he keeps that stuff up!
Way to fly Mike!
