Default Master Cylinder

I am looking for an original Master Cylinder for my Arlington built 70 Judge. Build date is 9C. What is the correct part number and date code. Thanks in advance. Marc

Should be 5470409 with a bore size of 1 1/8 and a stamping of EB in the front with side bleeders

Is this it? The part # is 5470409. But I can't find a stamp number. Also a 70 Oshawa Judge. Cdn. Does this stuff look original? Thanks!

Being an early built car it would quite likely be a small font "EB". The one shown in the photo is a Large Font version. Not sure when the change over happened.
My 10C built car has the small font....much smaller...

never seen the numbers nest to the B before on my originals

it a clean stamp on that master ,, and yes the font looks tall ''

Don't forget that the metering valve was also dated starting in 70 models...Stamped right next to the brake line out on the flat surface of the pad. fairly visible when everything together on car.....

After looking at a few build sheets I see a DH in box 68 for the master cylinder. These are early builds for the 70 GTO. I do not see EB. Am I reading it wrong or does the DH on the build sheet mean EB on the master cylinder. I am confused. Thanks, Marc.

The stamp on pad is different of the tag on retainer.

UD on tag and DP on pad. 71 power drums…

I attached a build sheet this is for a 70 GTO built is Arlington if you look at box 68 it says DH. If you are saying that is the tag letter for the master cylinder and it is stamped EB then I understand. Thanks, Marc.
