I agree Steve does nice work. Nice guy? I didn't find that when I talked to him. I actually found him a bit rude. I just was looking to get my wiper motor rebuilt. He said he doesn't rebuild them, he restores them. He asked me what I wanted. I told him it doesn't have to be concours correct, I just want it working, if he does other things to it that's fine. I was doing a frame off and wanted it working. He said "How about I do a rebuild and charge you for a restoration?". I was a bit confused. This was after I had already talked to him via email what I wanted and then sent it to him with a note. So, when he called me after receiving it, I was not happy with his demeaner. I was shocked he sent it to me with a bill. Most people would want payment before sending it back.

If you notice the backing plate of my pump, it is replated. I didn't ask for that. It is part of his repair/restoration. I'd say he is a guy that takes pride in his work. His work has his name on it. First class job.
Thank you.
