LoL - stock is good enough.

Add me on for another with big support for SFC's. I cut my floors and welded the box tubing from the front subframe straight back into the rear subframe. Great clearance and stiffened the car a LOT. Add me in to the doors opening/closing crowd, along with less groans from the car in driveways. Mine was so bad I have a gap/tear in my upper dash panel by one of the a pillars that I could watch the gap open and close coming in and out of driveways. No more after the SFC's.

Its about the best thing you can do to one of these cars, though I guess you might not notice it when you drive your car a few dozen miles a year on polyglass pizza cutters.

As much as I got a good laugh out of reading some of the posts ("polyglass pizza cutters"!) and even though I share some of the same opinions, my point in responding to the 'keep it stock no matter what' crowd was not to make fun of that end of the spectrum of our hobby, but simply to remind everyone that there are different ways to enjoy our cars, and that this forum would be that much more enjoyable if we all respected that.

I did'nt make fun of anyones POV...

I just said the folks saying that SFC do little (if any) good are pretty much dead wrong.

Now for the crappy SFC (like the square tube C/E ones that bolt to the Fr. spring perches) that may indeed be true.

But for the more modern tubular ones, that POV would be completely misguided.

And I pointed out that unless one has BTDT,they speak based solely on opinion, not fact.

FWIW.

I do apologize for giving my opinion, you are correct this form would be much more enjoyable without my or any other polite opinions that may take the conversation in a new direction, after all just because this is how the several thousend posts have went over the years does not make them correct, After we all can see how unpopuler this sight has become, Again I do apologize for myself and any other member who may have offended you .

As far as "real world" improvements go, I can now take the corner that I take every day going to work 10 mph faster before the tires start squealing since I installed the aluminum body mount bushings and PTFB connectors.
