I'd like to replace my rusty muffler on my 72 Formula 400. Can someone suggest a single 2x2 muffler? Dynomax / Flowmaster make one ???
I have to keep my current pipe setup.
Thanx

I will be installing a Flowmaster American Thunder 2 1/2 dual exaust on my 79 T/A in the next day or so. It comes with a single 2 in 2 out muffler that mounts in the stock location. I believe you can purchase just the muffler if you want. Got my system through Summit Racing. Will let you know how it works out.

Flowmaster part number 42582 is the 2-1/2" dual inlet/outlet transverse mount muffler. We run this on my dad's T/A and soon on my 76. Fix in stock location and sounds great. You'll love it. It retails for around $100.

If you're refering to the 2001 WS6, I have yet to take delivery or even order confirmation. From the research I have been doing the exhaust is the same. The 2001 LS1 will have 5hp increase (325 with WS6) and 25ft/lb torque increase for the 6 speed cars. I hope that's what you meant.
