I will definately say that the MCACN is the best show ever. I brought my hemi last year and was going to bring my 72 T/A this year for the Class of 72 group, but I sold it. Luckily the new owner is bringing it. And I will be bringing the black 72 Formula for the "As Found" class, instead.

If anyone has 72 GTO it would be a helluva addition to the display.

BTW, 7 of the 8 1969 Trans Am ragtops produced, will be at the show this year.

Finding one without a rear spoiler is going to be a challenge. I am not a rear spoiler fan,but i think i am the only one!!

But have you been to the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race, Steve?

Not knocking Bob and his efforts, but I can't choose one event over the other. People from the region are lucky that they can attend both!

No, you are not the only one.........however, that only applies to A-bodies for me. The 2nd gen F-bodies need their rear spoiler IMO.

Not all A bodies, just the T-41 equipped ones. With the heavy look of the front, the back needs the wing for balance (visually). The LeMans sport with the chrome front bumper and smooth hood needs nothing.

Or his old WW5 Shadow Gold 72. No spoiler or hood tach on that beauty IIRC. Mike sold that car and I think it may still be in Florida?

Great thought, but the car is in California and IIRC the guy is a fairly quiet, private collector.

Here's one that sounds like would fill the bill. It was for sale in HMN, just 26 1/2 years back (and - what a bargain!).
