motor mounts are 1.5" larger do i just cut and make spacers to take up the slack

The A-body mounts are completely different than the F-body mounts. You need both the frame and the engine mounts for that to be a bolt in deal. Jim

how bout this since 72 lemans has already been crushed at 2Pm today drill nuts that are welded on engine mounts get longer bolts to go in existing frame mount double nut bolts on back side and use lock washers too. cut spacers made of slightly larger diameter steel to take up slack in the larger mount. jhny

thanks for the post yea the new boy messed it up again but i machined new ones and they are on the engine and ready to drop in am thanks again nothing like being an inch too short. j
