Default '64 GTO in MA

All,
Tomorrow I'm going to look at a '64 GTO that a friend of the family owns. He is having a hard time health wise and is probably looking to sell it. I'll take some pics and post a honest description of the car possibly tomorrow.

All I know is it was a 2spd car and now has a 3spd. Not sure about anything else about it. I'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks.

So I went to look at the car today. It's a very nice driver. It's been "restored" but it isn't a super super quality restoration. The car is very solid. I was pointed out patch panels in the trunk for the quarters. The doors, floors, frame, front fenders were all very very nice.

It was a 4bbl 2spd car. He said it had the original engine in it. Had a Tri Power on it as well. Now is a T350 auto as well. Wood Wheel. PS/PB. No PHS. I forgot to get the VIN #. I think they were asking around $18K. If anyone is really interested you can PM me and I'll send you his phone number. He is suffering from Parkinson's so he can no longer drive.

Thankfully we were able to help sell his Corvette today as well. You might see the reflection of it in the GTO on one of those pics. Maybe someone can decode the data plate for more options.

Thanks Steve. I blame my brother for telling me it was a T350.

Just a FYI to owners:

They may want to put it on http://www.cars-on-line.com/ too, if not going the ebay route.

A "first stop" website for many looking at Pontiacs for sale.

List of Pontiacs:
