Default 05 ford f150 w/ 5.4

So, currently driving a 02 chev 2500HD 6.0 Longbox extended cab...looked into the background and it has had 17,000 in accidents...not happy, so the dealer will let me trade it back in on another vehicle and not lose anything. I want a chevy, but they dont have any on the lot right now. I ahve them looking though....However, what they do have is an 05 ford, crew cab, short box, 5.4, loaded except leather (dvd, etc.) almost a straight trade in for my truck, and 35,000 less miles. Anything i need to know about these trucks? Hows the fuel economy? I'm waiting it out for a bit for a chev, but if nothing comes up I will probably take the f*rd. Truck has 96000 miles on it right now. Opinons?

II have an 04 F150 with 72,000 miles, gets around 14 avg between city and highway and close to 17 straight highway. Items replaced so far besides normal parts ( brakes & tires ) was a front hub, rear axle seals, theromstat and the switch for 4 wheel drive. I tow my formula with it with no issues
