Default 1968 GTO quarter panel adhesive or foam?

Hello, What do you use on the sail panel of a 68 GTO when replacing the quarter? The factory had foam or some kind of adhesive that helped secure the quarter to the under structure at the sail panel area. Thanks!

Sem makes a flexible urethane foam used for body braces. It works well and is minimal expansion so it wont warp your panel. You will need a applicator gun for it though as its a dual cartridge.

That is a non expanding foam for vibration isolation so the middle of the panel has support and wont vibrate. You should be able to put the QP on then you can glue a piece of open cell foam at the right thickness between the inner mount and the QP. there should be enough room to get your arm in there to do it. use 3M seam sealer in the white tube. save you some money and aggravation.
Temporary mount the QP and see if there is room. Should be.
