Neat car. I was also pleased to see the GMOO document. My 69 Firebird Sprint convertible has one, but it's unreadable. Never did determine if it was somehow ordered for a returning military guy, or for some other reason. I dont think it was an export.

The earliest known built / invoiced 69 RamAir IV car .
I think that still holds true It was on eBay over 15 years ago and didn't meet reserve . Not sure what year Kevin got it. |

Would this car have been shown at a SoCal Pontiac show on top of a parking garage back in the mid 80’s ?
I went to a few Pontiac shows down south back then and recall seeing along with others this very cool rare ‘69. It was gold, black rag top, bench seat, Ram air car. I might have an old photo on my ancient desk top.

True, most cars are unique but you don’t have to go very far down the option line to say this is 1 of 1. 69 GTO -> convertible -> RA4 -> 4 speed -> Champagne (likely the rarest color for 69s). Boom, that’s it, right there. And if not, add the bench seat. Don’t need to get into floor mats, remote trunk release, power antenna, deluxe ash trays or myriad options that were available by 69.

IMHO trying to drill it to 1 of 1 distracts from the fact it's a RAIV ragtop. That's enough unto itself.
