Thumbs up hoses

I have 3 van nuys,70, and 2 71s so I can use, if you do them,

QUOTE=notime;5364750]Maybe its just a Van Nuys plant thing. Anyone else want to chime in with their original hoses? Maybe I will do them too but need to find out more about em.[/QUOTE]

That was a 71 number that he was showing us that was different. The 70 is all by itself and I am picking that stamp up today and am ordering more hoses so I should have the 70 upper hoses ready in a week or 2.

How much are the NOS 70 hoses going for? My only concern would be the age of the rubber.

...and out of nowhere Bill emerges shaking off three months of winter hibernation. Welcome back Bill.

Yes guys.. been a bad winter this far south, haven't been out in my non heated garage for months.. And the lower hose, no big deal on the return, just saw the picture, and the orange looking strip of tape and I knew it was the one I sent to be used for this stripe project.. But yes, I am back sort of.. been extremely busy with a new buiz I have started, sort of exploded on the good side, and just don't have the time nor energy to mess with cars right now. Heck.. I just found that Ames bought PY this weekend.. took me an hour to find the link to login to the forum, thought it had been trashed in the purchase/merger..

roundportponchos, those are nice! NOS and correct for a 70. So I have the stamps now for the upper and lower 70 hoses but cannot get a correct shaped lower hose so I will only be doing the uppers until I can find the correct shape lower, however if someone has the correct lower, I can stamp it.

Let me correct myself, the lower you have is for 72 and up, should be a 201 for 70-71
