Hey Colin & Chufham.
and of course, anyone else interested in how to delete the "Checker Cab" bumper option on a 73-74 Ventura/GTO.
Shoot me your email and I will send you the file. Total size 1.59MB. Too large to post here.

67_428_FBird,

I have a rear bumper I would be willing to part with. It would need to be re-chromed, but is in decent condition overall.

Send me an email if interested at gto74raiv@comcast.net

Thanks,
Don

Correction.
I finally found my original notes. Besides the obvious aesthetic improvement, this should save about 45lbs off the front, and 25lbs off the back. Quite significant for handling when you consider that this weight is beyond the wheelbase.

Woo Hoo !
One more guy and I've got a whole six-pack waiting for me!!
Let's see, Vancouver B.C. to Englishtown N.J is 3,000 miles.
Mmmm..... Better make sure I get the overdrive in soon.
If anyone has any questions, please post them here. I tried to cover everything as clearly as possible, but it's a while since I did the work.
