Default 69 Firebird Luggage Rack. Any value?

Took this luggage rack off my 69 Firebird. I believe it was a dealer installed option. It has a lot of surface rust on it. I don't believe they repro these things and was wondering if it had any value?

Don't see these very often. This is one of those options that is not performance oriented. But, if your car came with this, it's uber rare and should be kept with the car. I wouldn't sell it.

That is to cool what do you want for it? I honestly have no idea what it’s worth but could be the interested in it.

Lol, it's not that cool. I'd take $60 for it. Problem is I really don't want to have to ship it. I'll probably list it locally for pick up.

And it's really not in very good condition. Most of the metal is pitted.

It definitely does look like the one in the Accessorizer. Neat piece.

There was an NOS one that sold on eBay 2 or 3 years ago for about $300 or so IIRC.

If you want to ship it to Ohio and it’s not crazy price to ship I would gladly give you $60 for it. I totally understand not wanting to deal with shipping bigger stuff it can be a pain.

Yeah, I'll probably just hold to it.

Probably Cost you a $1000 to rechome it. Maybe vinyl wrap it in chrome
Would be nice on a convertible. Used to see them on MGAs and healeys a lot.
