Default '77-'79 Phoenix Gauge and bezel fit' 73 Ventura?

I have a '73 Ventura with the broken gauge bezel so many of these things have. Factory style replacements have been on backorder forever, and being that I' ve never liked the horizontal sweep gauges anyways, I started looking at the aftermarket round gauge style, but frankly... The cosmetic quality just looks like poo to me. Like they would be more at home on a Power Wheels toy car.

I recently found that the '77-'79 Pontiac Phoenix has a bezel with round gauges that looks identical as far as mounting goes, and looks like it would fit with the factory Ventura dash pad too.. But only being able to reference photos online, I can' t say for sure.

The gauge cluster connector is different, but that's simple to accommodate. But does it bolt in like it looks like it would?

Alternatively, do the gauge openings match something like 2 inch and 3-3/8 inch aftermarket gauges? I know I can fab some mounts for them, but I don't want to have to carve the plastic up.
