I'm trying to get a loose handle on as many of the 17 as possible, general location and pics or docs.

If anyone can help with the cause, please jump in. Please see my list on the link below:

If I remember correctly, the Blue one that Gary Daniels has was painted by the original dealer for the first customer and it was a Cadillac color. He picked it up about 10 years ago.

The Tropical Lime, black, black auto was Dan McKinnon's and was in VA for about 15 years - it sold a little over a year ago.

The Boss

That is exactly the kind of help I need, I obviously had the state wrong.

Gary's car was indeed painted right after delivery, I have seen pictures taken before and what a mistake it was in my opinion to change the color. Gary's is also the only one I have seen in real life, or at least knew what I was looking at.

I saw Dan's (multiple times) I'll ask him if he know's where it is now.

How did Gary's look, I remember when he got it, it was supposed to be in excellent condition and low mileage too. Did you take the picture? - he's got a few TA's huh?

See if Dan can share a pic, please.

Gary's is flawless, he has never driven it and it's been in the garage the entire time. He was taking a pic of the TA's for me and accidentaly got the edge of the blue car, I don't think he intended for that to get out. HAHA

He needs to learn how to crop pics if he want's to keep certain cars a secret.

Those are some awesome cars. The only 71 Judge I have seen for sale in the past year was a 71 hardtop-canyon copper- from Wagner's.

I have had several reports of car 14 being in Georgia, does anyone from that area know about it and or have a pic?

Talking Another 71 Judge Convert.

Hey Steve, I am fairly certain that the Cardinal Red car (#10) is the one that Steve Ames bought out of my town in the late 80's or very early 90's. The car had been in the same family for years and was passed down from a Factory Zone Rep. That one was an original Red car with a TH400.

Interesting. Of course Steve wasn't in his office to field the question, but I'll try again.

Thank you.

The first time my wife visited the USA she took a picture in Florida. Turned out to be a red 71 Judge convert with a white top. I'll see if I can find the picture and post it.

Does anyone out there have any updates?

Does anyone know if this pic in the Nov/Dec 2005 PE is the real black one? I believe that is Gary Cave in the red shirt.

Does anyone have any PHS, Build Sheets, VIN's, or other documentation they can add to the search?

Steve

I don't know anything about this car. I know there were one or two clones at the GTO Nationals in St. Louis but none were black. Here is one of them that were there.

BTW, I am fairly sure that is not Gary Cave in the picture.

1969Judge

The caption talked about Gary being a Judge and his opinion on trunk supports, so I assumed it was him.

There is nothing on the list I have that comes close to the color combos of this pic your posted, so I'm guessing it's a clone.

Steved400,

Yes, the pic I posted was certainly a clone. There were two cloned '71 Judge converts at the GTO Nats in St. Louis. That was one of them. The other one was white.

Sorry about that, didn't intend to confuse the situation with my clone pic

I'm just still upset that they only ran the 70 style front end treatment one year. But used the toucan sam fruit loop nose (oops) front end for 2 years 71/72. I wouldn't have ordered one if I lived in Canada either (lol).

I think sales reflected the disappointment also. JMO
