Sealing material for gap on radiator shroud.
I have an aftermarket plastic “like” fan shroud on my 65 GTO.
There is an about 1 1/2” irregular gap along the top radiator tank. Is there a foam like material, ideally with adhesive I could use that is heat resistant And not likely to be sucked down through the gap ? Thank you. |

I’ve used the black foam pipe insulation to good effect. Just squeeze it into the gap and it will hold and seal your air flow.

Window or door frame insulation that comes in a roll. HD/Lowes. Sticky on one side to stick against the shroud. Different widths and thickness though I don't think there's one for 1 1/2". Pipe insulation may work better

I've used pipe insulation for the same thing except down each side.
