Inside door panel chrome bezel for Ames F167 Remote Sport Mirror '71-'72
Hi,
I ordered Ames F167 Remote Sport Mirror driver's side for '71-72' and Ames does not offer a reproduction chrome bezel and retainer that works on the inside of the door panel for this mirror. (The pic of the interior is representative of what I'm looking for.) I've tried A153MD '69-'70 Remote Mirror Control Bezel, but it's keyed differently then the mirror control knob. I've also tried A153L ('65-68 All Models, '69-72 Sedan Remote Mirror Inside Bezel), which is close to the same diameter, but is threaded and can probably make it work, but I don't have the retainer for the backside of the door panel to prevent it from moving forward inside the car. Does anyone know the correct bezel to use for mirror F167 '71-'72 and/or have one I can purchase? Thanks! Jim.
