Interesting...I just assumed they would be lighter than Rally II's...maybe not

04 GTO? But those are so little...weird

I don't know. I would think they would be lighter. The factory Honeycombs are stupid heavy..... But look cool![/QUOTE]

My brother's 2000 Yukon weighs just under 5500 and has yet to loose to any of his buddies big dollar tow rigs.

Well since it looks like anything goes - 1957 VW bug weighing in at 1450 pounds, 1600 with driver.

Back seat, passenger seat, spare tire, bumpers and running boards removed. Running Centerline 15x3.5” and 15x5” wheels.

14.36 @ 92 mph on 165/80-15 radials (135R-15 front), 1756cc VW engine - modified.

This is what a 17 year old ran around town in, terrorizing whatever muscle car owners that were dumb enough to mess with it in the summer of ‘77.

1964 GTO, 455 with TH400 and Ford 9” rear with iron enter section. Centerline wheels 15x3.5” and 15x8.5”. Full 3” stainless exhaust with 2-chamber Flowmaster race mufflers.

Removed floor insulation, back seat, passenger seat, heater, radio, wiper assembly, front inner fenders, front bumper braces. I weighed everything I removed and it came to about 300 pounds by just unbolting things, the tar floor insulation and carpet were 50 pounds alone. All steel body with glass windows.

3330 without driver with a half tank of gas.

My 67 LeMans with no carpet or back seat, iron headed engine, TH350, full sheetmetal, Ford 9 rear end, half tank of gas scaled at 3550. 2050 on the steer axle and 1500 on the rear. With me, drag radials and a bottle of N20, usually scaled at 3740 at the track.

Sorry this took a while, individual pics are hard to find.

Here is the GTO with dad sitting in it. That's a full tank of gas, 571 MR1 block with aluminum heads, fiberglass hood, 4L80E and 12 bolt rear. Everything else pretty much stock restored and original to the car. Full interior, stereo system, sound deadener, Spare in trunk etc.... This is as raced. Dad weighs about 150 lbs.

Hang tight and I'll find a pic of the Chevelle on the scales. The similarity is uncanny.

What's the difference between a 74 and 75?? Aren't they basically the same?

Performance one might expect from a stock ‘68 GTO.

i82much, Your wood chipper might not make it. Several years ago I saw a Lawn tractor at Lebanon Valley Dragway with a M/T Hemi headed 421 in it. Guy used it for tractor pulling competition.

My 70 TA 4 spd no options was 3650 with a full tank and no driver. 3720 after my drivetrain mods.

No spare tire or jack. But I do carry some basic tools, spare ignition module and tire repair stuff that's maybe 20-25 pounds or so.
