Default Ames Visit

I ordered some parts from Ames a couple of weeks ago and since two of them had oversized shipping added, I decided to take a ride out there to pick up the order. One item was back ordered but I received a call last week that it was now in so last Thursday morning my son and I took the hour and a half drive to Spofford. NH.
It was a really nice day for a drive, if you call 10 degrees nice, and when I arrived the parts were ready.

I got to see the 69 Trans Am that Steve Ames recently piurchased as that was on display in their showroom. Pretty cool to see it in it's original, unrestored state.

The folks at Ames are always very accommodating and pleasant to deal with as I added a couple of additional items to my order when I arrived and they had them out to me in no time.

When I did my 69 I bought most parts from them and picked up some at Carlisle. They were very accommodating and well schooled.
