1970 glove box
I bought me a replacement original glove box door for my 1970 formula. Question. . Do they repop the glove box inner sticker and is the glove box arm the same as 71-81? I don't have the key and don't remember if it's same as door key and or trunk. Maybe someone can teach me. I plan on getting a dash restored and have a nos 71-81 door that I might use and just put a repop sticker on. It or make a sticker.

On the keys your door and ignition used the same key(square), while the trunk and glove box used the other(round). It was like this until 1973 I believe that is when they switched to the commonly known GM pattern of Square key ignition only and round all others.
You can consult your owners manual if you still have it. |

Why would you put a NOS 71-81 door on it? Unless you already need the original door for another 1970 and don't have an extra, in which case you'd say that.

1970 dash
My original dash broke ,my replacement 71 dash broke, when I get a restored or new reproduction dash not sure how grain will match or contrast. Since the 72-81 dash texture all same it might be a better candidate. That's why.

I do not believe that the correct 'RM' glove box sticker is currently made.
There is a decent 'RN' decal that was supposed to only be used on Trans Am's, but has been found on original Formulas. You actually posted in THIS thread here that I made on the subject. HERE is the 'better decals' thread - I have been hoping (but not pushing for) a correct RM tire decal for my car - but unless that happens, the RN decal I have will do.
