That happened to me once. I couldn't believe it at first, but the pieces of the puzzle fitted. Trouble is, I could not prove it - but I KNEW!

My greatest fear is that someone would steal my cars . People say they are only pieces of metal but when you have had them 35 years . I thimk they become more than that .
I am sorry for your loss . more places to post . gtoalley@yahoo.com Send Lee Sutter an e mail telling him what happened I'm sure he would post it on his site . post an add on classicalpontiac.com , run an add on e bay ex ; 73 Formula ( header ) (body) : not for sale but stolen from my house not for parts not a gto chevelle buick olds but had many NOS parts and then contact information you never know

He has a thread on the Lobby where he said that he located an address for the responsible person. But no updates, that was a few weeks ago. For all we know the car could have been recovered.

Hey guys. Man I really appreciate the fact that so many people who dont even know me are helpful and interested in my car. I really miss that car. It was the car that after all these years I came the closest to what I always wanted. A finished completely redone car. Three weeks ago my company(Pepsi bottler) sent me to Mississippi to gather up damaged, missing, unused, etc. equipment so I have been way out of touch. My computer broke before that and I havent had time to get it repaired and have to travel to my parents to get online. Anyway, got back a couple of days ago and visited our detective and in short, a new development has arisen. I dont know if the stealing &$#^#& is aware of this site so I dont want to give out to much. If anyone emails or calls me I'll tell you why I'm so sure about this f#&$(er and what I believe he did. Waiting on all the legal gathering of the evidence is excruciating and may not even be enough in the end to act on although the investigator seems pretty optimistic. Again, thanks to all of you and I'll try to think of a way to post some info here without hurting the chances of nailing the *^*)%$.

I am near Huntsville and often in Nashville. I will keep a close eye out up this way. That would be a hard to miss car!

Still nothing to report. If anybody sees any Recaro seats('81 Pace car) or formula pieces for sale please let me know. Also, the car had Caltracs with red overspray, handmade high pressure tranny lines, Hurst His/Her shifter, !60 speedo and 8k tach. New 12 bolt with chrome cover w/disc brakes, #16 heads w/the drivers side one modified to accept f-body alternator mount, trunk mounted battery, new HEI distributor, 455 shortblock that had one bolt hole screwed up on the drivers side. Thanks, Tommy

Default FOUND....Or some of it!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from our detective today. The shell of my car was found in a back yard in Trafford Alabama. There's a few good parts left so I'm going to pick it up from the wrecker service saturday. What left---body shell, t-tops, subframe, 12 bolt rear, all the disc brake stuff, the 160 speedo & 8k tach, passenger door, and the dual gate shifter(sans cover plate). The storage and wrecker fee will be about $135 that I'll gladly pay. That rear axle is brand new end to end with new Eaton and Moser parts. Here's the story. Two brothers named Nibblet were renting the house and had problems with the property owner. She had them evicted and chained off the property. Walking the property she found the car and called police. This was yesterday and they are looking for them now. When I get the car home I'll take some pics of whats left and post them.

That`s good to hear. Just prepare yourself for the mixed emotions you will have when you finaly see it. And no sleep friday night. Atleast the cops have thier names, and they will eventually get caught.
