Default Help with pro-charger build

Hi guys. I just pick-up a short block from Elliott Pickett. Im putting it in my 1973 pontiac ventura. I like the car to run into the 8. The short block is a Indian Adventures block, not IAII
4.375" Bore 4.25" Stoke
Light-Weight Ohio Crank (3.00" Main)
55 mm Roller Bearing Cam Tunnel
GRP Aluminum Rods
Ross Flat-Top Pistons
I have a set of Heads from Dave Sd perforance. Flow 350 72 cc. I like to run a pro-charger set up. I just don,t know anything about pro- charger. What cc i need what flow i need. When Elliott had the engine it made 750hp. Ilke the engine to make a lot more to get me where i need to be. And were is the best place to deal with. and cam choice. Its a 511 cube. The car does see the street. Thanks for any info

I would get in touch with Luhn Performance asap and talk to "Mark"

Luhn makes a super quality set of brackets for the Pontiac engine and has lots of experience with Bad69bird's (Brian H) Procharged F-2 setup that went 8.40s at Norwalk.

Default geardrive

Yea Marks a Great guy to work with. You can also talk to Chris at chassisworks just putting the finishing touchs on a geardrive set up for the AP blocks. Really nice set up.

The Indian Adventures Block has a different Front Bulkhead vs the All Pontiac Block.

The Butlers and Bob at All Pontiac added Front Bulkhead material to the newer blocks.
Bob also told me that the added material to the bulkhead to be able to add a crank support/ crank/gear drive supercharger.

I would be very careful about drilling into the old Indian Adventures Block as it was almost a direct copy of a factory block in that area.

Yes, Chris Alston Jr at Chassis Works has a nice product there (as does Vortech Superchargers).

Yep, Vortech did a nice job on the Blower for Chris Alston.

Chassis works did the brackets.

I heard a story where a Vortech V-28 Supercharger made 200+ more hp vs a F3-139 on the same dyno recently

That block is super strong, it is just not the right block for a Supercharger drive like in the photo, a normal belt drive set-up for Luhn Performance would work great.
