62 GP Blinkers wont work
Bulbs are all good, fuse is good. Does not do anything. I put the blinker on while stepping on the brakes and that brake light goes out.
Any suggestions? |

Check your flasher.

I had a similar issue with my 62 GP. It turned out the wiring from the fuse block (to the rear signals) had a problem. I figured this out by jumpering a wire from one of the other terminals to the blue wire on the tail light harness. At least that's what I recall. I'm pretty sure the blue wire on the tail harness goes to the turn signals. I'll be re-doing my interior this winter and will pull the fuse block to do a proper repair then, but for now, jumping the wire does the trick. Not sure if this is your problem also, but you might give it a shot to see.
Have a good one, Kevin |

The rear lights use the same filament for the brake and directional so if they light at all, the bulbs and the wiring to the bulbs is ok.
The stop lights are fed from the fuse block to the stop switch and then to the directional signal switch in the steering column. The switch makes the connection from the stop switch or the flasher, depending on the switch position. Check the flasher or flasher fuse, if that's ok, check the steering column harness plug to make sure it's plugged in well. Lastly, your directional signal switch may be bad. George
