Default Red Line Radials

I'm contemplating putting red lines on my 67 GTO. Who makes the best tire, Coker or Diamondback?

Diamondback tread is way too aggressive for my tastes. Look like truck tires. I put the Coker Slvertowns on my '64.

Guess it would also depend on the size you are looking for. DB has more size choices.
A subtle, but significant IMO, difference in the two brands is the redline itself. Might not be too obvious in the pics but the DB redline is raised up above the black sidewall (which has been "shaved"). The Coker Silvertown redline is raised as well. The Coker bias ply redline is in a groove of the sidewall like original redlines and whitewalls.
The Coker bias ply look redline radials (came out last year or so?) look promising although still some differences from the original mold of the bias ply redlines.

I had the same choice question this summer when I wanted to put redlines on my 65 GTO. The Diamondbacks are made from BFG Radial T/As and go through a process where the white letters are removed and a redline is added. So as far as the tread being too aggressive looking, I don't think Radial T/A tread looks too aggressive as the majority of muscle cars use this. A plus with Diamondbacks is that you can get the redlines in any size that Radial T/As come in. A negative for Diamondbacks is that it can take 2-3 weeks to receive the tires once you order them as they need to obtain the Radial T/As then put them though their process.

I ended up choosing Coker for a few reasons.
1. I could get the tires in a couple of days.
2. I ordered them through Summit and they shipped for free saving me over $100 vs ordering from Coker.
3. I was ok with the sizes they offered for the BFG Silvertown Radials.

Hadn't thought about ordering through Summit. I'll have to check them out. Thx

At the same time I bought a set of Wheel Vintique 15" rally I wheels. Ordered those through Summit as well with free shipping.

I got mine from Diamond back . They are Firestone "INDY 500" tires mounted backward with the red line vulcanized to the back of the tire with all markings removed.
Great service and were at my door in 2weeks.

Not sure if they are still that way...but the coker red lines had awfull mold lines around the front of the tire.
