Default Cowl to hood W/S

Guess I need a little MPC help. I'm trying to find the part number for the cowl to hood W/S , rubber seal. I did finally locate the illustration in group 8 and it showed the W/S in gr. 9.127. There is no gr. 9.127. Misprint I guess??? Any help is much appreciated. The Ames seal is the wrong profile!!

Thanks "Bill"!

Bill, not sure what MPC it is missing from.

My '66 MPC (dated Oct. 1, 1965) shows the same as 8LUG except it now shows '64-'66 T/6-T/8 for the application, no p/n change, same Gr. 9.127.

Bill, here's the page with Gr. 9.127 from my MPC.

Since this is a Chevy p/n I checked around in the Chevy Parts Books. In the '65 Book they showed it in Gr. 9.127.

But in the Oct. '70 Book it shows up in Gr. 12.801 labeled "SEAL-CLIP, Hood Ledge (Cowl)", so called a Hood Ledge (Cowl) Seal (there is also a Clip p/n listed in the Group).

If you have the Body Parts Book, you might check to see if it is listed in Gr. 12.801.

I checked mine, I don't have a Gr. 12.801. But maybe you do?

Maybe moved it to a different Group but failed to change the illustration.

Default cowl to hood weather seal

Hi Bill

Going through my old weathers strip collection. No part number remaining. Not sure if this is what you are looking for. If not maybe you can help me identify.

Hi Will, that doesn't look familiar to me. Maybe someone will jump in.

Are you going to the Uprising? If so, see you there... "Bill"!
