Default Tornados across the USA

Midwest got hit bad and lots and lots of damage and lost lives.

I pray that all of our PY members are safe. Tornados were as bad as the Joplin Mo deal several years ago.

Winds gusty from the south the last 2 days down here. Was in the 40’s for highs. 79 to 80 the last 2 days. That means someone further north is gonna get whacked.

Wonder how those 70,000 Ford trucks made out in Sparta, KY?

Just fine. Sparta is about 200 miles northeast of Mayfield. Mayfield is in far western KY, south of Paducah. Sparta, KY is about 55 miles north northeast of Louisville, KY( just up I-71 from Carrollton, KY). The storm track took this storm within sixty miles of us(Floyd Co., IN) While Mayfield took the brunt of the storm, damage was scattered throughout Western and South Central KY. Bowling Green was hit; the Corvette plant suffered substantial damage. Princeton, KY was also hit by the same tornado that nearly destroyed Mayfield. A friend of mine’s mom lives in Mayfield. She is fine but Mayfield will need a decade to recover.

Was on local news today, way up North. Looks bad. Have to feel bad for those involved.

Those Ford trucks are long gone. The last ones were processed and shipped out in October.

Now, they have started holding lots at the fairgrounds. Read an article last week that said the Big Three have approached Intel about starting a chip plant here in the U.S.
