Default 1955-1956 Pontiac project wanted

I'm looking for a solid 1955-1956 Pontiac project car in or near Ohio. Looking for a 2dr of some sort. Not looking for a show car. Looking for a project. Last two I've seen available around here have been in the $1700 range for complete running car with little to no rust. Unfortunately, both had been shaved and modified beyond beyond what I was willing to undo.

Interior is not important to me as long as there are seats that function and aren't completely crumbling. Chrome condition not that important either. Motor condition not important....non-running or completely missing is fine. Mainly just looking for a solid rolling body that has all it's trim and major body/interior components.

If you have something that fits close to this description in or somewhat near Ohio, please let me know. Thanks.

Have a Canadian 56 2 door sedan that need front floors & front bumper. A lot easier to fab up a set of motor mounts than update the American model's brakes & steering. Also real easy to mini tub.

Thanks. looking for something I'm not going to have to install a bunch of patches in.....I'm already consumed with that on my current project.

Would like to find a 2dr HT chieftain project.
Found one out in KS, but pictures showed it was beyond what I would have expected according to the description.

I know your looking for something real solid, but I went and looked at this one last weekend and can tell it has potential as it started right up and is mostly intact (he has the rear bumper) but will need rot repair in lower sections. The thing that caught my eye was the reclining driver side bench and Firegold color. He's asking $3800, I have his number if you're interested.

Thanks, I've decided that I'm hung up on the Chieftain 2dr HT . The star chiefs just don't do it for me. The chieftain has the look I'm after.

Thanks.
