I've had great luck refurbing those clocks. If the contact points aren't totally shot, they can be filed with a points file, then oil the clock mechanism up, and most of the time they will be fairly accurate and run for a long time. The Borg units were a quality part, but as with anything mechanical or electro/mechanical, they will eventually require some TLC.

I love the idea of a vacuum gauge instead of the clock. That looks great, nice job.
