Default radiator mount 66 GTO

Hi,

I'm wondering how the radiator mounts look like in a 66 GTO.
The pre owner of mine build new brackets to mount it from the side (tanks left and right instead of up and down).

Do you have any pictures of the stock mounts down and up?
I now ordered a Cold Case stock appearance radiator which has the size of a typical 4 row, so I also ordered the conversion kit for the mounts on the bottom.
I guess the bottom mounts just hold the radiator in place and then one or two top mounts fix it.

I have the AC model (17,5" core) and I want to make it work and look like it came from the factory.

Thanks!
Chris

If you have AMES catalog G36 part # P119YC($22) is the upper mount you need for your stock or Cold Case radiator.

Thanks for the answers.
I used these for the lower mount: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rad-rpe58

And these for upper: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gri-kd-00050

Had to order something and wasn't sure.. but the lower brackets and rubbers work perfectly for me and from the universal set I only used the upper mounts which needed a little bending but they look and work fine.

Also the Cold Case radiator (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rad-gpg38ask) is really great. I'm just about to change the fans for some Spal fans since I think the Cold Case fans are a little weak, even if the cfm rating is 1400 for each one.... the Spal has 1320cfm but they feel much stronger.
I'll do a compare and let you know if interested.

With my Sniper I'm about to deside when the fans should turn on and off.... so what do you think is best?

Fan #1 on at 195
Fan #1 off at 185

Fan #2 on at 205
Fan #2 off at 195

Or should I start both at the same time (maybe at 205) and switch fan #2 off a little earlier than Fan #1?

Hi Chris, Which fans did you end up using with your Cold Case gpg38ask?
