hey guys! yep i spending the day thinking about motors LOL! id like to know if there is a formula for calculating the VE of your motor. If you have it could you post it or just email it to me.

According to Superflow info. the VE can be estimated by following formula. First determine hp by either track or dyno data. Then divide hp by rpm x cid. Multiply by 5600 and then multiply that result by 100%. If it is an alcohol burning motor substitute 4750 instead of 5600. Reference page 11 (I suspect you have this) of the Superflow 110 instruction manual.
