Don't you just hate it when you show up at the prom and another "lady" is wearing the same dress you are? ;-)

A friend who lives in town has this original paint 50,000 mile, Brewster Green and white 73 SD. This is the first time he has brought it out locally in years

Murderer's row. That's too cool. They look like they are waiting for someone to come and pick a fight.

Two 73 SD's in one town - at the same place on the same day - never heard of such a thing before .

Glad everybody is okay

Sounds like a King of the Hill contest will be coming soon

$105,000 seems like enough for this RamAir IV
Its been to auctions before and discussed/evaluated before in the past .
But i don't remember a whole lot about it specifically .

Seems pretty well bought to me
Usually they are wanting closer to 200k for 70 IV M40's

Not saying I would not want that car just saying its a bit cobbled with some noticeably incorrect stuff. The $200,000 cars are fresh restorations done correctly. I would have put a bit of $$$$$ and effort into this car in order to maximize the selling price.

I'm going to be REALLY disappointed if we don't get a burnout video some time soon.

....and if anybody wants to say they are too rare & fine an automobile to do that with - I beg to differ.

I had a picture of 3 74's one night in Monroeville,Pa. when they were new.I can't find it. Jeffs red 4psd,Phil's blue auto, and my blue auto(both from Constantin Pontiac). Phil has a pic of his and Jeffs at one guys house in Plum we hung out at-plus a new Can Am in the drive.I asked him to get copies but haven't got'em yet. Jim Miller was the guys name he worked at Constantin as was responsible for me getting mine.He built most of the Pontiac motors for the local's. I'm the only one that still has the SD. Jeff parted his out(he past away)-but is being put back together by new owner.Phil sold his -family $ issues.

Jumping out on a Limb here as I dont know for sure, but, is it safe to assume that all "production" Super duty's got the one piece headliner?

I don't think that's a far leap. Mines one of the first dozen or so built and it has the one piece.

Put me on the list for your black Formula if you suddenly find the need for garage space or extra cash.

Ps - I'm serious about the list.
I looked at the auction, And was sorta stumped at the mileage, as I saw a "similar" car in CA in '87 when looking at a 84 anniversary T/A. Guy who owned it named Peter. "That" car was later featured in a Magazine, and I kept that article right here at my desk all these years. I used to have a major soft spot for white cars, probably due to my colorblindness??? I had bought 2 '72 HO cars ( FF and a T/A) in nearly the same location a few years earlier.( one is being saved by a PY member!!) Anyways, comming Full circle, it seems that this is THE same car. The info and Mileage and pics sure indicate so..this is a multi page article, only put up couple pics.

Cool Brewster '73 SD cover car on 1999 Year One Cat.

While looking through some automotive lit, I found this one I'd forgotten about.

Any idea where is it now?

Agree about the color appearance. Probably due to 1999 Photoshop Tech and final printing.
