It's an adjustable frequency signal generator. It generates an AM signal that can be input into your AM car radio while testing it.

OK, I usually don't post more than one a day, but I thought that this one deserved it. I had to do a double take seeing the location of the ignition key.

An Oakland is an Oakland and a Pontiac is a Pontiac. Almost nothing shared (the '32 V8 is one obvious exception).

Rally and under dash gauges? Would have been a decent clone if they didn't go overboard with the Judge package

He actually has three tachs! If you count the one on the sniper screen. I guess that means if you add them all up he is doing 9,000 rpm when cruising on the interstate!

9,000 rpm, and that's not even half of what that Sniper screen tach maxes out at.

You have that all wrong - he has a tach for each cylinder (the other 5 are hidden) this will tell you if your crank is broken or the pistons are switching cylinders...

They are odd, a member of our local classic car club has a couple of them, FWD Aircooled opposed twin's, They are actually better handlers than a VW Bug of the same era, but very Odd. The later models look very much like a 1960-64 Corvair.
Interesting but very ODD cars. That company invented the "Panhard Bar" for rear suspensions.
