Lorain, OH 1969 Firebird
I am new to first gen firebirds and have a few basic questions: My car was built in Feb 1969 and the body buck tag has "LOR" preceeding the remaining digits. Does LOR indicate Lorain or Lordstown, OH where it was built? Also, what color would the undercarriage have been, black or Red Oxide? Thx.

I believe it should be Lordstown. I’m not an expert but I believe all Firebird were built at either Lordstown or Norwood. My 69 was built the last week of December 1968 at Lordstown.
