Default Charcoal Grey T/A pics

Can't remember what years but does anyone have some good T/A or Firebird pics in charcoal grey?
I might go with this color since I don't see any at all.

My '81 was a charcoal grey originally but unfotunately I dont have any pics of it before I started stripping the paint. Its a nice color and Im cosidering painting it back to the original color when I finish the car.

I remember the 79-81 body style having that color. Was a nice color.

Thank You! It's just such a cool color on a bird. The color makes it look shorter and faster. I just painted my dash 1972 blue last summer but am re-considering.

C'mon bird owners!!!

I had taken some pics of mine when I first bought it.........they are regular film pics. If I can find them I will take them to a friend and have him scan them for me and post them here. I havent seen the pics in a couple of years so Im not sure if i can find them or not.........plus we have moved since then.
I can post some pics of the floor pans....they are still the factory color Just kidding, I dont figure that would help much other than letting you see the actual color in close up detail.

I found a pic of the car but it doesnt show much. This is after some body work so there are primered areas on the car but it may give you a basic idea of how they look anyway.

Default Charcoal grey

Here are some in the light and at night. I like it better at night as it shows the cars lines better.

"Will you remove the damn dash panel so I can cook this down the alley"!! That's what the 1 picture looks like whoever is behind the wheel. Nice Lunati decal. Nice car! I'm starting to really like the charcoal grey!? A 72 Formula would look killer in this color with body color bumpers. Makes it look short and FAST!

i am also lookng into charcoal colors and silvers. i found this picture online of a 1981 could anyone tell me is it code 84 ?

i've been looking at http://www.iwaynet.net/~gl&lisk/1980ta.html and for 79 - 81 to figure out color codes.

i've found that on the 1981 site there's:

DARK CHARCOAL - CODE 84
SILVER - CODE 16

on the 1980 site:

PLATINUM - CODE 15
ONTARIO GREY - CODE 84

on the 79 site:

PLATINUM - CODE 15
and no grey or charcoal offered.

is there a difference between charcoal and ontario ?
if so can someone post pictures please.

second if someone could post pictures of a silver car and one platinum.

thanks

That looks just like the Gunmetal Grey used on '87-'92 GTAs. Which is an awesome color by the way..

i think you might be right, i found this picture of an 87 online. i think it's one of the few colors that will compliment having the carmine interior.
